Our Outreach Team gives out more than 2,500 pairs of socks each year! Having a sock collection party can be a great way to get children and families to support Bethesda Cares! Please consider socks that are:

• Men’s size
• Merino wool
• New

Food

Our recently housed clients welcome donations of unopened, nonperishable food items, such as:

• Boxed pasta
• Pasta sauce
• Canned soup
• Macaroni & Cheese
• Minute Rice
• Canned tuna and other proteins
• Packaged snacks, such as granola bars
• Instant oatmeal

Other items

We are in need of new items to help our clients feel at home when they move in. You can address our most up-to-date needs via our Amazon wishlist. Some of the items we are always in need of are:

• Full-size toiletries (shampoo, bar soap, etc.,)
• Plungers
• Toilet Paper
• Shower curtains
• Garbage bags
• Trash cans
• Dish Soap
• Bath towels
