Since Bethesda Cares first opened its doors, serving hot, nutritious food has been a priority. Not only are we able to provide food to individuals who may otherwise not be able to eat, but serving meals each day acts as a means of engagement for those living on the streets; helping us build the trust we need to move toward housing.
The amazing show of support from our community–food drives, volunteerism and financial support–helps ensure that our meals are appealing and nutritious.
We are grateful for the many hands helping those who have the least in our community.
Thanks to our congregational partners: The Church in Bethesda for their long term faithfulness in serving people experiencing homelessness and working poor in our community.
Members of the community interested in volunteering with us should call our office (301.907.9244) Monday-Friday to check availability, or email us at volunteer@bethesdacares.org
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:00-12:00 p.m.
